For Dow
Jones Newswires, a Fortune 100 Financial Services and
Publishing Company, developed a large-scale, complex order
management, inventory management, and billing system using
VB, DCOM (VB implementation), MS SQL Server, Windows NT
Workstation and Windows NT Server. The system was modeled
to provide very flexible product and rate structures and a
robust billing engine capable of processing in excess of
6480 billing scenarios. Additionally, the system
integrated several third party products and ActiveX
