Billing Application
For a
Fortune 100 Financial Company, designed, developed, and
deployed a complex billing system which uses PowerBuilder
and Sybase in a Windows NT environment. This system
simplified the billing process and enabled the company to
retire much of the mainframe system that they were using.
It is a three-tiered client server architecture that gets
its feeds from an MVS system via FTP utilizing TCP/IP.
This billing system generates invoices to some of the
largest firms on Wall Street. The client recently decided
to extend this system to other applications and products.
